secure wireless networking on Win 98 SE

Post by stuck »

It can be done :fanfare:

I'm making this post usng an old IBM ThinkPad 390 laptop (with a Swiss keyboard) running Win 98SE that is connected to my home WPA secured network via a Netgear WG111v2 wireless USB adaptor.

Why? because I can!

I can walk all the way up to the bus stop in the morning on my own!

A car crashed into a barrier at speed; nobody was injured, but a front wheel became detached, and slowly rolled down the road.

Not bad for a lawnmower!
Best wishes,

I take it that is a sideways reference to the fact your feet are recovering from the pounding they took walking the fair streets of a lovely city during a recent festival? Which also explains your cryptic signature tagline.

No doubt it is also a blatant attempt to :pirate: the first serious thread in this otherwise forgotten back water of The Lounge
