The "Bliss" desktop wallpaper

Post by John Gray »

You might be interested in the origin of the default XP wallpaper, called Bliss. Similar information is in Wikipedia.

Sadly the spoof variant of this wallpaper, produced by a British company called Digital Ink, and featuring a well-known former Microsoft chairman holding a yellow ball near a Teletubby* house superimposed on the landscape, no longer seems to be available...

*Teletubbies: a TV programme for (very)young children, featuring grown persons in stupid costumes, who made silly noises
