Supposedly there is a new version of Unlocker ( 1.0.9 ) out, geared to the 64 bit version of Windows 7.
Has anyone tried to use this successfully?
I have downloaded this from a couple of sites, including the authors, but have not been able to get it to work at all. It was in beta for a while but the latest indications are that this is a final release?

Re: Unlocker for Win 7 64 bit
Can't help but wonder Bob, how many 64-bit Loungers we have. It may be like me and my new Blackberry questions, there just ain't that many users out there.

Re: Unlocker for Win 7 64 bit
I do have 64-bit Windows 7, but I've never had a problem with locked files, so I have no need for Unlocker...
Best wishes,
Hans

I also have 64 bit Windows 7, but as of yet need a program as such.

Re: Unlocker for Win 7 64 bit
This all came about because I spotted a strange file ( don't remember the exact name ) that was in my temp folder. The only way I was able to dump it, was to boot into Safe Mode and get rid of it there.DaveA wrote:I also have 64 bit Windows 7, but as of yet need a program as such.
There does seem to be some discussion out there as to whether version 1.9.0 is in final release or not. The author is said to have updated to a 64 bit version because he upgraded to that OS. It was available in final from Broderbund (sp?) Software, then suddenly was off their site. If it was pulled because of bugs or whatever, no one seems to know. Even the author's website doesn't say anything!
