Unstacking files
Despite having selected the "Never combine" option, when I have two or more Word docs open only one appears in the taskbar. What else should I do to stop files/ folders stacking up and only showing one please? Dave.

Start Microsoft Word.
If you have Word 2007: click the round Office button in the upper left corner, then click on Word Options near the bottom.
If you have Word 2010: select File > Options.
Select Advanced in the navigation pane on the left hand side.
Scroll down to the Display Options section.
Tick the check box "Show all windows in the task bar".
Click OK.

A thousand thanks Hans, this really bugged me seeing I had selected "Never combine" but it made no difference & simply persisted in stacking so I must conclude that feature comes by default in W7. Regards Dave.
