System Restore

Post by Dave Davison »

Visiting a friend yesterday as he was about to download some freebie I said. Don't you create a system restore for safety? He said there was sort of glitch when installing W7 and the computer shop owner he goes to it would coast him £70 to rectify so he decided to do without it. Could there be some free add on or downlaod that will perform the same function for him please? Regards Dave.

If he has the W7 installation disc couldn't he just try inserting it and doing a 'system repair'? Others here will have a better handle on what might be required, rather than give £70 to his computer shop owner!
Regards,
Keith

If your absence does not affect them, your presence didn't matter.

Next time I talk to him I'll mention the W7 installation disc which he should have seeing he bought the PC new and had W7 installed by the dealer. Regards Dave.
