Flash Drives
Hello, One of my Flash Drives a USB 16GB in FAT32 stopped auto opening. I transferred the contents to the Desktop, re formatted the USB then replaced my files. This did fix it. Do you know what caused the auto to stop working? It did the same on the other sockets on my laptop.
If it wasn't for bad luck I'd have NO luck at all.

Re: Flash Drives
Win 10 has an annoying habit of wanting you to use MS defaults for stuff for me this translates into Win 10 not always obeying my chosen non-MS default action for auto-play and instead telling me I have new autoplay choices and thus forcing me to select, yet again, my non-MS default action.
Whether that's what's happened in your case or not I have no idea but I suppose what I'm saying in a very long winded way, is who knows why it happened but you've fixed your problem so move along now, nothing to see here.

Hello Ken, it was only one of my many USB'S, the others opened as I had Auto Play set to, 'Open folder to view files (Files Explorer)
If it wasn't for bad luck I'd have NO luck at all.
