I don't see why not. I use the same username, email address and password on my desktop and laptop.

If you do this then you will find it makes networking the two computers much easier

The reason I asked, is because I help to maintain my 85 year old friends pc's.
One of them kept saying there was trouble with his MS account. As there was not much I could do as he could not remember the password. (various tries at fixing it failed) so I reset it. I tried to use the same MS account details he had on his other PC but it would not accept it. My next task is to remove the PIN and try to change the password to match the other PC.
The username, email & password are MS accounts & gmail accounts.
P.S. never got email notification, spam folder is empty.

My 2 laptops have the same details unfortunately it never helped me. They are still working as previously stated.
