View all minimised files
Don't know if either of these tips this have been aired before if so, please just delete this post. With multiple files minimized to the task bar if one presses the "Windows" key together with the "Tab" key the said files stack up on screen and with the Windows key kept pressed, each time the Tab key is pressed each file scrolls to the front where the first one opens when the keys are released. Quite handy, also if multiple files are open and one needs to view the desktop simply press the "Windows" key and the "Space Bar" together. All the best loungers Dave.

Re: View all minimised files
Most Windows users know about Alt+Tab, but Windows key+Tab is much less known, so thanks.
Best wishes,

The Windows Key shortcuts are very handy!
Ones I use very often are:
Win + L -- locks the workstation
Win + E -- opens Windows Explorer
Win + R -- opens Run dialog
Win + P -- Choose a presentation display mode (I do lots of presentations at work)
For an extended list, see here.

Once, by someone, called "cool switch", I think.HansV wrote:Most Windows users know about Alt+Tab, but Windows key+Tab is much less known [...]
Anyhow, yes, "Aero Flip", or whatever, has been around for some time, Vista I think.
Bonus:
Add Ctrl to the key combination, Win+Tab+Ctrl, and it will "stick"; no need to hold down the keys. Kick back and scroll with the mouse wheel, you can pick any window in the stack, not only the one at the front. (It is also possible to scroll via the arrow keys.) And then you never use it again.
Those are also among the ones I use most of the time, Rudi; and Win+3.

Re: View all minimised files
I often astound clients by using Windows key + E, then further astound them by using Windows key + right or left arrow to pin the window to the right or left side of the screen. It's all magic if you haven't seen it before. And if you have, it's still very convenient for a keyboarder.
