Setting default colour to print Black

Hi of late I have noticed that my rather ancient Epson C46 printer is rather slower that ususal and note that it is using the three colours to print black. On a previous Epson similar to the one I am now using I seem to remember seeing a Tab to set the default colour to black but can't see one for my present printer. [see screen shot] any suggestions please. Thanks Dave.

....despite waiting several minutes before clicking the "Submit" tab after the "attach" one I note the comment [Not downloaded yet] is shown with the attachment.....??????/
