System Restore - allocation percentages

Post by ChrisGreaves »

SystemRestore.png
I initially thought that the first image meant that I was using only 50% of my (disk) capacity to save restore points.

The second image seems to tell me that I am using 50% of my C: partition (100GB) for system restore points.

That is, I am, as we speak, at “full capacity” of space set aside for system restore points, and if I create another point, an old point will “fall off the end”.

Your total available disk capacity is 97.5GB
50% or 48.78 x 2 = 97.56GB, as shown in your screenshots.
Just your C drive partition not the total size of the disk with other partitions included.
If you want to set another Restore Point for another partition, it will just be calculated for that particular partition.
