In my opinion, it's too difficult to find out which ones are essential and which ones aren't, so I'd leave them alone.

That's what I figured. Even googling around didn't turn up anything positive about it. Falls in the same category as .NET Framework versions, no one will commit to making up their minds as to them all being necessary or not. So just leave them alone and let them bloat.
