Lounge Upgrade

Post by mwolfman »

Hello all, tonight (this morning at 3:00 am EST, I'm going to do some maintenance on the lounge. It will be inaccessible for approx. 10-15 minutes.

Thank you

Mike,

Thanks for doing that.

A bit of advance warning would have helped. I tried to log in at 8 AM (UK time) and got some very alarming error messages.

The upgrade is complete. There was a small hiccup at 5:05 am EST for 2 minutes.

Thank you
Mike,
Either you are a REAL "night person" or very dedicated to service, or BOTH, I know I didn't notice any interruption or hiccups. :clapping:
Then again, I don't think I tried to log in around 3 AM. :doze:
At any rate, nice work. :fanfare:
Care to say what the upgrade was?

It was a bug fix release of the phpBB bulletin board software.

Bob, et. al. I'm embarrassed to admit that yours truly WAS up and about at 3 am. I won't bore you with why, but I couldn't get back to sleep, so I surfed.

I didn't try to check The Lounge until about 3:20 or 3:30 and Mike was still here but things were working. I didn't stay long and went back to bed.

Sheesh, I wish I could break this "middle of the night" cycle my body clock is on. But, in total I do get enough sleep, so I guess it's no harm, no foul, just an annoyance.

Ah, good for you US guys.
Good work, Mike! :clapping:

After Mike had posted it, I just had to think for a second or two, which night he meant, it was morning over here (and if it was a 24 hour advance notice, or not, which day). But he did say this morning, so no problem at all. So, I was around until 08:50 CET/GMT+1, 02:50 EST, but didn't come back until after some 30 minutes, as Al, 09:20/03:20 and then there were plenty of Loungers around. Again, thank you Mike, nice work.
