I'm quite amazed at this announcement! Only one year old!

When Eileen's was mentioned in a Windows Secrets forum, I dropped by on a whim and was immediately impressed with the sense of a mature (seasoned, not old) community of kindred spirits who enjoyed the camaraderie in helping each other and those less well versed in things technical.

Congratulations to the "management team" in forming a place that attracts such people to drop by in the first place, then charms them into staying.

I think you have made Eileen proud, with the great work you have done and keeping with "Her" standards.

I couldn't have put it better myself - so I won't.
Thanks to all the administrators and a very happy birthday.
Anyone mind if I have something little stronger than lemonade?

To all Lounge participants.
There were a few dark days last January when I believed that access to Charlotte; Hans; Stuart; Mike; Claude; Lief; and all of their loyal Lounge companions was being lost. Fortunately, their pride in a worthwhile cause and a job well done, overcame the difficulties that were presented.
Thank you all who contributed to this most stellar enterprise. And thank you to all loungers for your faith in the advantage of sharing knowledge.
    Your congratulations are well deserved.
Regards
Don

May I add my congratulations and eternal gratitude to the heads of this wonderful family. I am sure that Eileen is smiling down at those who are carrying the banner, and giving their time and expertise with such generosity and in the spirit of friendship and support for all of us in the extended family!

I remember the day when I received a PM from Hans in old lounge a year back, about this entire new place. I am not frequent on net these days due to some other commitments but always try to take a quick look here & glad to see that novice like me are in safe hands.

Happy Birthday Eileen's Lounge & many thanks to all for their helping hands.

:thankyou:
