Problem Inserting Image From PhotoBucket

I was attempting to insert a link to an image on PhotoBucket into a post and when I posted, received this error. It was an animated .gif, and I tried inserting links to severl other smaller files with the same result.

Is this a bug, or a "feature" of the new Lounge software ?? I have not run into this problem previously, but have not used PhotoBucket in some months.

There does seem to be a problem inserting a linked-to image. I know it can be done - I have one in my sig!

I'll see what I can find out - thanks for reporting it!

When this came up I thought that what I'm about to show was part of it, so I didn't want to pile on. But it's still there.

In my control panel, signature, which is current and I'm changing nothing. But it I click the Preview button I get the following error message. Might it be related to the "fixed" one? The image in my sig is 163 x 61 pixels.

Al, we've seen that problem with some other images too while we were testing Mike's fix. When you try to use a linked image in your signature, the Lounge software queries the server on which the image is hosted for the size of the image. Apparently, some servers don't return this information (causing the error mentioned earlier) or return incorrect information (causing the message that you show). We don't know why this happens now, and not before...
