What is the Other Office Applications forum intended for? At the moment it has in it threads both about MS Office components that don't have their own forum (for instance I posted in there about MS Office Document Imaging) and about non-MS office programs (OpenOffice, for instance).
Is that the right home for both kinds of threads?

Re: Other Office Applications forum
It was intended for MS Office apps that don´t have their own forum, but for the moment it´s OK to ask Open Office questions there. If there are more, we may create a separate OO forum.
Best wishes,

That is what I think it is, so I am agreeing with you
This would give a place for some of the other programs of MS Office, that NOT having their own board such as "OneNotes". And any of the other NON Microsoft made products including but not limited to WordPerfect, 123, and etc.

Or perhaps not just OO but "Non-MS Office suites" or something?HansV wrote:If there are more, we may create a separate OO forum.

Re: Other Office Applications forum
Hmmm, if you want to move the OO thread I started to the Software forum...
I guess I was thinking "office" in the non-proper noun sense of the word, where ALL word processing and such play a role in the running of an "office" but if you Admins feel differently, at least we'll all know.

Right, for example, SharePoint is listed on the MS site as MSOffice... that's where I posted my SP question
