A couple of other minor matters

Could we have a button that more easily allows the specification of URL links with text, as in
[ url=http://www.somewhere.com/something.htm]The Something Text[ /url]
Would it be possible to repeat the link to "Mark forms read" which appears on the Board Index page also at the top right of the four sub-pages "View unanswered posts", "View unread posts", "View new posts", and "View active topics"?

Or are you asking for some two field entry box, into which you type the URL and text and it is automagically coded for you?

Or are you asking for some two field entry box, into which you type the URL and text and it is automagically coded for you?

The "two field entry box" would make it easier for people not familiar with the two ways of specifying URLs, and this is available on many? most? other BBS systems.
Me? I know how to do it either way!

They can always read what the tips are by hovering their mouse over the URL button:

Ah, but reading is not the same as doing. By the time you've started typing you've forgotten what you had to do since the Tool Tip has gone away!

(I did say it was a minor matter - if the 'two-field entry box' facility is not available in the board software, it really doesn't justify writing it!)
