Is there any plan to let the members know who is celebrating his/her birthday & when, as it was in OLD lounge? I have seen it in some other forum powered by phpBB.

The birthday feature is currently turned off. In Woody's Lounge / Windows Secrets Lounge, only a small percentage of users entered their birthday in their profile.
