Thanks to one-and-all involved with the transition... GREAT work. :clapping: :fanfare:

Now to try accessing with the PC (Thanks for the hint Hans)
Both the iPad and PC can now access The Lounge. iPad through Safari and Chrome for the PC.

I use 1Password and had changed the sign on credentials a few weeks ago to use the https feature. It took some modifications to 1Password and the HOST file in Windows 10 (thanks Hans) to complete the processes and gain access. All is well. I did see your comment about awaiting approval for the certificate which should allow the use of the https feature.

Good times are back! :fanfare:
Regards,
Bob

Hello Hans.
Good to see you all back.

I noticed I didn't get a popup-window for (extra) smilies (View more smilies) while posting a reply. Using Firefox (and lord knows things change there every now and then), and thought perhaps some permission wasn't set, since now back to using HTTP. But nope, popups are allowed.

Thank you, Stuart, for checking and reply!

Meh! :bingo: I'm getting old; 'twas javascripts, somehow they were not allowed for HTTP, only HTTPS. Should have guessed, but gave up & fetched a cup of coffee. But I was in the race of posting odd experiences for a short while, wasn't I; now I'm back in "also-ran".

As Eddie Izzard said about computers: There's always one :censored: thing you haven't done!

(Still, there is another bug in Fx; somtimes it doesn't show (in the address bar) that one has allowed cookies. Been like that for a very long time.)

Whoo hoo! The last time I tried to login (before the big migration), I couldn't. I opened the Lounge today and was logged in automatically. Whoo hoo! I say again. Good work!

And along those same lines, I want to say—maybe superstition, maybe luck, or just maybe the new server—but whatever the reason, the site left me logged in all day, didn't kick me off even once. That's never happened before, not even close to that.
