Unfortunately, we run an older version of the forum software phpBB3 that doesn't play entirely nicely with https. We do have a certificate, though, so you can change http to https in the address bar if you wish. You'll see some error messages that you can ignore, and some interface elements might not display correctly.

I seem to remember that some browsers at some point were going to prohibit any website which didn't use/support https...
