in This Post I initially attached a JPG image 960 pixels tall and 4 pixels wide. I didn't ask for it to be pasted inline, since I figured a tall pencil-thin image wouldn't really help anyone, so I zipped it.
I'd like to know if/how one can suppress the business of the image being placed inline, instead of being left as an attachment.

By zipping it...
The Lounge software will always place .gif, .jpg, .jpeg and .png attachments as inline images, you can't suppress that.

There's a place about six feet back of the dim recesses of my mind that says I raised this query, or something like it, about two months ago. I've searched within "my posts" and can't find it.
I think it was relevant; if you're dim recesses are not as badly recessed or illuminated as mine ... I'd gladly edit the first post to include the link. I think I was asking about "inline" files other than images. :oldman:
