Can a PM Inbox be Deleted?

Somehow I managed to define 2 PM inboxes. One of them had very old messages in it which I deleted. That inbox is now empty. Is there a way to delete that PM Inbox?

Go to Rules, folders and settings.
Under 'Remove folder', select the folder you want to delete.
Since the folder is already empty, it doesn't matter which of the two options you select.
Click Remove.
