I don't suppose that this can legally be called a mexican wave, in some jurisdictions?

I guess we had to wait until all of them were gathered, not much of a wave if there are only two of them.
Perhaps an can keep an eye on them.
(Did a half-hearted attempt some week ago to see if the gif had been saved somewhere; now, with the correct file name, it took 2 seconds at the command prompt. They'd been doing the wave for almost 10 years in a corner of one drive. )

Re: Long-lost animated wave smiley is back
Why were they missing? The smiley in the bathtub is still missing though.
While I'm typing this I can see them moving with fits and starts down below while the movement is more fluid if you're not in the reply pane. No, take that back, it's just my pc getting slower
I still have to manually type the name of the selected smiley; the only time clicking the smiley works for me is when you click the smilies to the side of the post window

Re: Long-lost animated wave smiley is back
The way smileys were handled in Woody's Lounge of old is slightly different from the way they're handled here. When we set up Eileen's Lounge we didn't know how to handle some large smileys.
There's a lot of background processing going on in the reply pane. As a result, the animation of large smileys (and TheWave is one of the biggest) may be choppy while you're in the reply pane. It also depends on your CPU and graphics card of course.

Some features of the Lounge don't work 100% as intended in Chrome and Firefox since an update to those browsers earlier this year; they still work OK in Internet Explorer.
These problems are somewhat annoying but not life-threatening

They must operate on Red Bull or something as they don't seem to ever get tired?!
Even after 5 minutes of staring, they are still not huffing and still in sync!

Giggles, Rudi! I wonder if they realise how gorgeous they are? I would tell them myself if I spoke Smiley. Watching them is really addictive! It is difficult to tear myself away from them, the little cutie-pies! Welcome back, little wavey people, every single one of you (though I didn't know you before) - I have gazed at each one of you!
Eileen's Lounge does it again, on yet another level of excellence - I have never seen such a wonderful collection of smilies anywhere else!
