"Most Active Topic"?

Post by ChrisGreaves »

Most active topic: REAL TIME SATELLITE TRACKING [ 22 Posts / 3.09% of your posts ]

I'd be interested to learn how "most active" is measured.
On the surface it appears that the Satellite thread has 22 posts, and that makes it Most Active by virtue of the number of responses it has generated.
However, I just checked the thread and see there "Page 1 of 2 [ 29 posts ]"
So now I wonder if "Most Active" refers to the number of MY posts in any thread, in this case I see 21 or 22 when I do a quick count of both pages.

Then too, I wonder if Most Active refers to some other statistic which is not being displayed.

It means the topic in which YOU have been most active, i.e. topic with the largest number of posts by you.

Similarly, the most active forum is the forum with the largest number of posts by YOU, and the number displayed here is that of YOUR posts in the forum.
Best wishes,
Hans
