View Active Topics

Post by DaveInPitt »

Hi Everyone - When I View Active Topics, I'm able to filter the results by "x" number of days, going all the way back to one year. Depending upon which date filter I'm using, for example 7 days, does that mean that someone has replied to that post within 7 days? Or, does that mean someone posted the original question within 7 days? I guess what I'm trying to ask is "What makes a topic active"?

Active within the last 7 days means that the most recent post in the thread was added 7 or less days ago, not the initial post.
Best wishes,
Hans

Thanks Hans.

So if, heaven forbid, I was out of range of Free WiFi for fourteen days, "Active Topics" with the filter set to "14" should bring me up to date?

If I have five minutes to spare, a smartphone, but no laptop, I often use the portal without logging in, just to view Scuttlebut and lift my spirits, but if I do log in, I more or less lose my status in "New Posts"; or at least, get out-of-step.

Cheers
Chris
