HyperTerminal in XP (German version)
I'm trying to help a customer in Germany to use HyperTerminal. They are telling me that they can find a program called 'H Term' (or similar). Does anyone know if HyperTerminal appears in the German version of XP in it's 'normal' location of Programs > Accessories > Communications... ?

Re: HyperTerminal in XP (German version)
Hyperterminal comes with XP, and it would appear in the location you mention, but it's possible that they haven't installed it or uninstalled it. It can be added as follows (the user may be prompted to insert the Windows XP CD):
Start
Control Panel
Add or remove programs
Add/Remove Windows components
Communications
Tick the check box for Hyperterminal
Continue and finish the installation

Best wishes,
