The wheels fell off quickly once again, it seems.

And we got 77.0.1 in quick succession.
Version 77.0.1, first offered to Release channel users on June 3, 2020.
(Bit surprised such eager interest to quickly get the latest ver.)

It seems one of the bugs is that you can't do anything with the Lounge. I don't login very frequently (my last time was last year) and when I went to login today, NOTHING happened except complete rejection by the lounge. Couldn't login, couldn't reset a password, couldn't create a new account, nothing at all. I finally decided to try with Chrome, which I discovered I don't have on this machine, so I gave up and tried the new version of Microsoft Edge, which, sadly, worked like a charm.

That probably doesn't have anything to do with the Firefox update, but with the move of Eileen's Lounge to a newer version of the forum software. See Having login problems after the forums update?
Best wishes,
Hans

I was a bit puzzled when I didn't get the 78.0 version of Firefox because I usually do get it on the same day Hans does. After reading the OP in this thread, I looked only to find that my version was up to date. The next day I got the automatic update to 78.0.1. I've had no problems since updating.

I see ...
If you follow one of Hans' links above there is a link (at Mozilla's) to the full Fx install files. If you upgrade your installed Fx with one of those you will find that it has "helped you" enable auto updates (in the settings). :sigh:

Done!
Thanks.
