Firefox ... rtsp - version 77.0.2 64bit

Post by ChrisGreaves »

I note a couple of comments in Australian Fires, and now forays into YouTube result in failures to play videos. "The gas man cometh by Flanders and Swann", as an example).
My firefox is up to date, according to FireFox.
Has YouTube gone the way of all free stuff?
Thanks
Chris

In that old thread, it was suggested that the link was intended for use on a mobile phone, and won't work on a PC.

The following works for me: Flanders & Swann: The Gas Man Cometh
Best wishes,
Hans

Thanks Hans.
I was initially trying with TubeMate on the Android Moto-X phone; the downloads failed (0 bytes) which is why I went to the laptop/Firefox combination.

Then I gave up and installed Chrome, which was able to play the video (so I emailed the link to my buddy)

Me too.
Thanks
Chris

Hmmmm!
I have tried removing (and not removing) that two-character "m." on the smart phone and still can't download.
I'll go away and play a bit more ...
Cheers

The rtsp protocol doesn't work on a PC as far as I know.
Best wishes,
Hans

The confusion, Chris, you got me into in this thread ... There's a Fx 77? I see your link, "Australian Fires", and just as I click I notice it's a link to a search result, and wut, I see posts from this thread from the "future".

Argus, I apologize. Or I apologise.
That's what comes of trying to copy/paste with a smart phone.
I usually remember to check my links.

No problem, Chris! (It was fun to take look into the future.)
Phones can be evil, and copy/paste in general.

But they all take a back seat to help lines for online banking ("But it is working the way we programmed it ...")
Cheers Chris
