Inserting Arrows

Post by Carol W. »

For the record, I'd like to state that my artistic abilities are very poor.

Having said that, on slides 2 and 3 of the attached, I'd like to use a "bent arrow" (instead of a down arrow connected to a left pointing arrow). If a bent arrow isn't possible, I'd like to insert a line instead of a down arrow. I tried inserting a line in Power Point but every time I tried to increase the width, it began to rotate.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm clearly out of my league here!

Hi Carol,

There is a bent arrow shape in the shapes gallery.
I have highlighted it in the image below and attached the PPT with the shape included.

Rudi,

Perfect!!! :thankyou:

One more question: What is the best way to adjust the height and/or width without distorting the size of the arrow head? I have a lot of problems doing that. Lock aspect ratio checked or unchecked?

Thanks again.

When in the edit mode of the arrow play with the "Yellow" diamonds. This will control the different settings of the arrow.
