Good afternoon
I have tried searching for this but can't seem to pin it down for WIN 10
I have a laptop with no CD drive, I have an external one that shows as F: which allows me to open CD's and install from them, however when I try to burn I just get the selection of D: but there is no CD on D:
Any ideas please
Cheers

Re: Default CD drive
Does this help:
https://www.easytechguides.com/burn-a-c ... windows-10
Specifically, Step 5., where it says:

Specifically, Step 5., where it says:
KenRight-click on the selected files/folders, go to Send to and then choose your CD/DVD burner drive (e.g., DVD RW Drive (D:) or CD RW Drive (E:) ).

Re: Default CD drive
(Assuming you do not have anything already named D:)
Computer Management > Disk Management > Can you right-click on the F: drive and rename it to D:?
