Hike messenger read receipt

Dear community,

Is there any option to turn off hike read receipt. If there is no option, why sometimes its not showing "R"under the message after my friend seen my message. Because he is reply for my. There is no network problem. Because my message is delivered as soon as i sent. After long time its showing "R" means read receipt. Is this application unknown error or what. Can wr turn off read receipt? Is there any third party application to do this? Please tell me.
