Not one of the foods mentioned in the article sound even remotely appetizing. In fact, even deep fried butter has an edge on what they were serving at the Florida State Fair. eeew.

A couple of my friends went to a county fair in California and reported trying a deep-fried Snickers Bar and, a different treat, deep-fried Twinkies! :yikes:

Reputedly, Deep-fried Mars Bars are (or were) popular in Scotland.

(Transatlantic confusion: the Mars bar in Europe is roughly equivalent to the Milky Way bar in the US, while the Milky Way bar in Europe corresponds to the 3 Musketeers bar in the US)
