Best I have done is Taco Pizza:

Taco meat (prepared with packet of taco seasoning - your choice of type)
Mixture of taco & pizza (marinara) sauces
4 cheese Mexican cheese

Prep a crust, your choice, but I prefer to buy Boboli® brand. Spread on sauce mix, top with taco meat, sprinkle with cheese to cover. Bake to melt.

Top with broken tortilla chips, salsa, shredded lettuce and other taco type toppings of desire and enjoy until you are heavier(2)

I purchased a small packet of Provolone cheese, sliced, late yesterday afternoon.
Figured on trying it as topping to tonight's pizza.

Woke up this morning and found an empty packet on the floor next to my bed and my bookmark up around p354 when i swear I was at page 233 last night ...

Very odd.

So you'll have to use bean sprouts as pizza topping tonight...

I leafed through it just now; quite a few candy wrappers in there, too.

I'll walk across to Bruno's at lunchtime and get more cheese; Provolone for sure, also some Swiss. A binary-chop might be the best strategy to sort this out.

Here's where Pat Conroy ended up in my recent haul of books.

Thanks for this, Hans.
I tried some cucumber slices three days ago, not half bad, I thought, although sometimes it's hard to tell, what with being stuck in a book.

I suppose I could try
Bean Sprouts raw
Bean Sprouts coated with oil
Bean Sprouts coated with garlic salt
Bean Sprouts ....

No, you're Chris Greaves. Stuck is up North, banging his head on the keyboard (but it's not that grim).

Tomorrow night, and if you are lucky, or perhaps unlucky, you may get some topping that's out of this world .

I love this stuff:

"The US space agency says the risk to life from the Upper Atmosphere Research Satellite (UARS) is 1 in 3,200."

They are pretty well guaranteeing that if it comes down in the ocean, not a single plankton will be harmed?
On earth, not a nematode?

I think the whole shebang should have been steered onto the agency that launched it.
No ifs, ands or buts.
"Bam!".
Congratulations; you're out of the launch business and into the recycling business".

You're welcome.

Hey Chris!

If you like Conroy's Beach Music, you're gonna have to learn to shag.

Are suggesting Chris should have a Little Chicken as a topping?

How odd!
I finished that chapter over lunch. (The chapter where Leah learns Shag and falls in love with all her uncles).

Nicely Timely.

I'm getting there.
Today's pizza is made with near-perfect dough; next week I'm going to start spinning it by hand.
Today I made a lovely sheet, and it draped a little over the edge of the tray, so I sheared off the excess, much as my grandma sheared the edge of the gooseberry pies in Goodshaw.
I found some New York Sausage on special, so individually wrapped & froze eight of them. One sausage does me a lovely pizza.
Veggies are the left-overs from Monday-night's chicken shish-kebab chez moi with my two neighbours.
HPIM4289.JPG
The cheese was on special too.
Boring slab of Old Fart, I think the french-language label said.
So I've sprinkled a healthy doze of ground pepper onto it.
The cheese topping goes on the pizza in its last 5 minutes of baking.
HPIM4290.JPG
And how will I know when the oven is au point?
Well, remember the pastry trimmings from the first image?
Rolled out & sprinkled with cheese then rolled into a sausage they make a lovely cheese stick, which, when baked, tells me the oven is ready.
And while the pizza is cooking, I can have a tasty little nibble.

P.S. How's your cheese and tomato sandwich?
