It's just leftovers after the meal, so they haven't been cooled down quickly. Yet I've never had stomach or bowel problems from reheated leftover rice.
Best wishes,
Hans

Why wait? As Chris shows so clearly, the whole process from start to stomach won't take more than an hour...
I only have a metal mixing spoon. Don't want the oats to play havoc on the planes compass.

My bowels have never moved because of reheated rice.

A tribute to you, friend.
By the bye, I'd be VERY interested to hear the result of the following experiment:-
Print out my post, but not the original recipe posting;
Hand the printout to an amateur cook, such as ourselves, and ask them to bake the biscuits as best they can from my post.

IOW: A recipe can follow the standard format (Ingredients, process, time, serves) OR could be written as a humorous (I hope!) narrative.

Bottom line for me is that my mother taught me to play with my food, especially with cooking. I suspect most good cooks (us included) are adept at substitution.

IMNSHO anything reheated can be dangerous.
Our forbears knew this and threw leftovers(1) into a always-at-the-boil pot on the stove.

(1)Of course, rightovers in the southern hemisphere.

We could hire a private eye(s) to find out.
