Network Assisstance

Post by bknight »

I recently purchased a Win 10 machine. I'm using Access 2007 on both and I wish to split Db(s) from a Win 7 machine (backend) to the Win 10 machine (frontend).
After sharing all the documents folder on the Win 7 machine and splitting a Db, I copied the frontend to the Win 10 machine. When I opened windows explorer, Win 10, I was able to see all the files on the Win 7 machine. I then opened A2007 and linked all the tables from the backend Db on the Win 7.
After that I attempted to open one of the tables and received an error message that the link is not a valid path.
Any ideas?

I don't know what was done incorrectly yesterday, but I deleted the link and then re-linked. I am able to open tables now.
