I changed all 3 networks to 'Network Lake' by changing the registry.
Made some diff, but now PKsLapTop can't be seen by the other 2 computers and none of them can see the printer (WiFi). Well actually they can see PKslapTop - it is visible under Network in Explorer, but can't access it. Sharing settings are set for full sharing.
This is getting crazy.

Do you have a common user account with the same password on ALL machines?

Got a pro in. Took him 4 hours. He started by setting static IP addresses on the router, but took another 3 hours of fiddling to get it all working. In the end, he couldn't put his finger on what was actually done, but the static IP addresses was the main thing.
Not saying WHOOPPEE yet though.

This really shouldn't need a static IP address, but if it works then...

You're not wrong Stuart, but when one is clutching at straws ......
18 hours on and still working.
Dave, yep common account, all same user name and same password. Well I have a new stick Win 10 mini, teeny, tiny computer that doesn't have a password. But all 4 can see each other.

That screenshot of the Network and Sharing Center is very strange Peter. All the icons seem to be missing...

I think you are using Win 7. The "See full map" gives it away. No full map available in win 8.1 & Win 10.
all 3 of my Win 10 computers show the Network & Sharing Center in my pic.

I am past 24 hours and my network is still going strong. Getting close to a whooppee.

Gosh, you're right. I just looked on one of my Windows 10 computers and there's no obvious way to change the network name. Another verschlimmbesserung.
