How to identify local networks
When I am in the library I see something like "Toronto Public Library".
Is there an easy way, in either DOS (or I suppose VBScript) or VBA to detect the top-member of this list?
This is not a critical issue at all for me. I operate with different documents depending on whether I am at the library or at Northam, and I thought it might be nice/cute to have my boot sequence be smart enough to differentiate between my locations based on the available networks.
FWIW I could imagine inhibiting some features on my system if the closest network were a well-known chain of coffee-shops.
Again, this is a non-critical question, for me.
TIA Chris
