Seeing that you'll get a 2000m mountain, will you be in the shade in the afternoon, and, will you learn to ski ?
Cheers, Claude.

I'm afraid for the authors that the plan is destined to remain a pipe dream...

Much of The Netherlands consists of thick layers of sand and clay, with the bedrock starting far below the surface. A 2000 metres high mountain would have an enormous mass and hence have a catastrophic impact on the rest of the country - parts near the mountain would sink, other parts might be raised.
Best wishes,
Hans

Yes I know, I just thought it was a lunatic idea which should be ignored, then I realized it wasn't April 1
Cheers, Claude.
