Laptop as pizza box

And then he could put the laptop in a pizza box for added security: PowerPizza Laptop Box

Fair enough, and I have better things to do with my time.

Like, ... Taking an hour to relax and dismember a ThinkPad just for the hell of it.

Leif, I honestly didn't think you could rise any higher in my estimation, but your response tells me that you seem to grow better year by year.

I don't like, I love the idea of using it as a lunch box.
If I can strip out everything of weight, it'll be perfect for a couple of rounds of ham-and-tomato sandwiches, or pizza.

Better yet, next time I'm down The Montreal Deli, I'll take the shell with me, order a large pizza, and when Joan or Emma ask if I want a (clam-shell polystyrene) box, I'll just ever-so-casual-like say "No, but thanks anyway", and slip four slices into my laptop, and snap the lid shut.

Leif: You make me look good! :clapping:

P.S. It'll have more impact if I don't tell Ms B about it; AFASK it's still a useable laptop from her building's recycling room
Heh heh.

Excellent!
9 out of 10 for effort - you just need a little document holder that keeps the bit of paper proving you are allowed out unaccompanied.

Thanks, Leif, for the praise.
Coming from you, that means something.
I'm not sure what it means, as usual, but I'm sure it means something!

As for the bit of paper, I don't think I need to worry about that.
Betty keeps it in her purse.
Along with my plastic cutlery.

Chris,

You have surpassed your previous heights. I am truly impressed. Do please take a photo of the case with a pizza inside - ideally inside the shop so we can all see the look on Joan's face.

Ken, do you still want the bits that are left over? I'm keeping 26 of the key tiles.

Here you go (last two photos)
I didn't catch the look on Joan's face as I loaded up the laptop, but Betty tells me it was worth waiting for!

Yes, that's a good way to describe Joan's smile!

BTW we did play a short game of Quiddler with the 26 tiles.
Of course, some tiles have a digit on them for "bonus points"
Also the game is somewhat constricted with only 5 vowels, total, especially when some nefarious opponent uses up two of them to make "Axe".
Restricts one's options, somewhat.
