I've just been made aware by a postcard from my IBM corporate offices that 2011 is the Centennial Year of the IBM Corporation. Most of you know that I spent my second career there for 30 years, after the US Army and I AM proud of that service in a great company. The anniversary date is June 16th and I'm sure there will be much hoopla about it.

A hundred years! Quite an achievement. I wonder what the basis of their business was when they started up in 1911? I take it you joined them a bit later Al
Edited: guess I should look at the history of IBM link

And, of course, he was British
