I do occasionally see Deer nearby, and we have a few local Hunters allowed to, and very keen to, shoot them for the meat source of local Guest Houses and restaurants. I might be able to encourage Deer to come and drink and eat near "my" rail track area, (hopefully eating other than my planted potatoes).
It's quite well sheltered there, and I believe the local Hunters are supposed to refrain from their hobbies when a stray shot might land near the tracks. – (they didn’t shoot me yet, although I was worried a few times already when they were lurking around
)
