Tis the Season!

Post by BobArch2 »

Spending a third of a year in a hospital (two hospitals actually) was no fun. But the outcome has been good. Today, the orthopaedic surgeon declared that my shoulder bones have healed! I am free and clear to celebrate the Holidays. On that note, my Holiday wishes are expressed in the attached link to Jacquie Lawson’s brilliant and magical web site.

Season's Greetings from TGWN
Regards,
Bob

But Bob, if it wasn't the shoulder of your beer arm that broke, you'll have been short-changed, no?
Good to hear your keystrokes again ... :xgrin:
Cheers, Chris

Thank you Bob. 2023 was indeed a tough year for you, but hopefully 2024 will unfold in a much better way. Merry Christmas to you Bob, and I look forward to seeing you active in this forum going forward.

Thanks Graeme.
@All is it my imagnation, or failing eyesight, or are all those lights (someone got a programmable spotlight set for Christmas) turning a video into Monet painting?
I can see that there are members in the audience, but no detail at all; and it seems difficult to mark out areas of the hall, for example, the area where the band is playing.
Thanks, Chris

...turning a video into Monet painting?..
The Monet effect will simply be a reflection of the low resolution of the video capture.

Ah, yes! Possibly a smart phone on a tripod up in The Gods, then.
I suppose that when I saw "Albert Hall" I immediately thought "So, a professional show ...".
Thanks, Chris

Your png certainly looks like a Monet! The video is a bit diy and the sound is a bit poor but I thought Ken might like the organ pipes!

It's the thought that counts!

...the organ pipes!...
My favourite organist has yet to play at the Royal Albert Hall.

He has played at St Paul's Cathedral though.
