Any Report on the Post Quake Recovery in New Zealand?

Wondered how folks are faring. Our media are not very good at follow-up on these stories.

One lot had no problems at all other than a fence having fallen over, the others (closer to the coast) had no sewer for a while and were stuck for a few days because of a bridge collapse, but they are all fine, thanks for asking.

Anyhow, about one hour and 20 minutes ago the had another major earthquake, 5 on the Richter scale, lasting some twenty seconds.

Ok, they just had another major one, and, although it was only 4.7, because it was so close to the surface, it felt a lot worse apparently.

I managed to talk to one of them via Skype, but, power-failures are a bit of a headache, so we lost contact again.

Aftershocks are not fun. Even a minor one can fray one's last nerve. I hope Nature settles down soon out there, Claude.
