When you buy bananas tomorrow ...

Post by ChrisGreaves »

... leave this YouTube video on Coninuous Play (see the thread in Eileen's Lounge) to greet you when he return home with your bananas.

Peel the ripest of the bananas (1) and sit down to read this web page while pondering over "We use these in smoothies or to make a really simple ice cream that people really love because it looks like ice cream, tastes like ice cream and scoops like ice cream, but it's just frozen banana," and "Ms Burrell says banana peel is edible and utilising it can help reduce food waste, just be sure to wash it first" and other such appealing matters.

For about fifteen years, my older sister was a banana-bender.

P.S. OK. Here's the other one, although I have doubts about standing barefoot on a glass jar, with or without the lid.

Cheers
:bananas:
(1) Hang on to the second-ripest banana until after you have eaten the ripest one, and another "ripest banana" will appear like magic!

Then why did you buy the bananas since you have so many zucchinis?

Oh DO pay attention, Dave :exasperated:

I had to buy bananas to make zucchini bread because I used up the last of my zucchinis to make banana bread when I found I had run out of bananas and that Foodland was closed(1).
It's just simple supply-and-demand home cooking economics. Nothing to do with having an oversupply of raisins.

(1) Foodland sell large white paper bags of au point bananas at 99c per bag. I find that a great source of bananas, especially since the entire bag can be consumed in less than a day for cakes, dessert, and now, fake ice-cream.
Also, if I am running out of space in my orange shoulder bag, the bananas can be compressed a tad.
