Actually, the term ATM with the meaning of a cash dispenser is most commonly called an ATM machine - or an automatic teller machine machine. In the same way that people us a PIN number at their ATM machine.

And why does that song refer to dilly dilly, not dally dilly or dilly dally or pirrodge?

I don't know, Geoff. (1)
And what's more, you've left it a bit late to ask my maternal Grandma; she's the one who sang it to me back in 1953.

I did like having porridge in their flat upstairs, because she had real cream in a silver anodized jug, and allowed me to put on as much sugar as I wanted.
I think she must have had it in for my Dad; half an hour later I'd be roaring around like a Spit fire.
In summertime she allowed me to mix cornflakes AND Welgar shredded wheat in one bowl; verboten downstairs, of course.

I loved Grandma.

(1)I hasten to add that Oxford Comma or not, I am not saying that I deny all knowledge of Geoff!
Cheers
Chris
