My wife and I were able to travel and meet up with stuckling2 at the end of last week.

On one of the days we walked along part of the Thames Path, near Buscot weir.

What a lovely landscape! Were you as solitary as this photo seems to suggest, or just good at finding the right moment? It's wonderful.

There was no one around when I took the picture but there were people around :grin: The path is on the opposite side of the river to the car park. You cross the river at a lock and shortly after we did that a boat arrived and used the lock. Inevitably other people appeared and stood and watched the lock do it's stuff. Once the boat had passed through, everybody set off along the path. We held back a bit plus we weren't walking all that quickly so within a few minutes we were all on our own.
