Hans just curious, because I like the photo you posted above, did you take it with a camera or a smart phone. I'm probably wrong but it looks to me to be a panoramic shot.

I took 2 photos with my smart phone, stitched them together with Microsoft's Image Composite Editor and cropped the result a bit.

It looks great. I have panoramic on my smart phone and my granddaughters are trying to show me how to use it. LOL
