Should I be worried?

Post by HansV »

I just bought a new laptop. The Quick Start Guide mentions
Connection and use of this communications equipment is permitted by the Nigerian Communications Commission
Does that mean that my laptop will be used to receive communications from former Nigerian officials? Or that it will be used to send such communications?
Best wishes,
Hans

As long as you always use Claude's bank details, I think you should be fine.

PS: Congrats on your PC! Are you going to run two PC's in the lounge now to double up on your replies?

Rudi

If your absence does not affect them, your presence didn't matter.

Nah, I'll be away from home more frequently the next few months. Browsing from a smart phone is somewhat limiting, so I decided to get a laptop.

Good choice! At a height of 6' 4" with large hands I have always found the screen keyboard of the smartphone a real challenge! A laptop is definitely the way to go. Out of curiosty, which brand of laptop did you get?

Bob

Since I still wanted it to be compact and light, I got a Dell XPS 13. It weighs only 2.9 pounds (1.3 kg).

That's exactly what I would get if I were buying a laptop for travel.
