Two things come to mind:

-- It might not be wise to walk the dog when there are police in the neighbourhood!
-- (Just an evil thought :evilgrin: , and not for real...) Have a copper wire run down the leash and when you need the dogs undivided obedience, pull the trigger to send a small burst of electricity down the wire to gets its attention. :electric:
