It doesn't look anything like the letter 'd' to me...

But for a bonus point, what do Czechs (amongst others) refer to corduroy trousers as?

Interestingly, I have just been listening to a BBC Radio 4 programme presented by Stephen Fry about Australian English. One of his throwaway comments was that in cricket, the Australians do try so hard...! :laugh:
