Meanwhile on that well known little island just off the coast of Oz (aka NZ) one of their southern alpine resorts has had snow for the fifth time since 1 Jan / this summer:

Hate to alarm everybody but up here in the Frozen North of the Great Lakes it's 42F when it's supposed to be in the 10-15F region. And yes our snow is almost gone which is bad for the critters
